Main character
An apartment in the Vishnyovy Sad residential complex in Moscow
Setting
Mosfilmovskaya Street, Moscow
Private Circle
Description
Classical order allows a few liberties here. Wood panelling gives the apartment the substance of a city home with a history. Contemporary art and furniture design bring a gentle irony to this architecture: familiar forms take on an unexpected reading, and the restrained backdrop accommodates bold juxtapositions.
This approach to tradition leaves room for freedom of personal choice. Objects are allowed to differ from one another, draw attention and surprise. The interior’s unity comes from the proportions and rhythm of the wood finishes, allowing the furnishings to be diverse.

The name “Private Circle” also speaks of conversation. The large table suggests company and an evening devoted entirely to talking. Art becomes part of everyday life alongside ordinary activities at home. This apartment has room for ceremony and the freedom to feel at ease.
