Origins

Zariza Art is an architectural bureau shaping business identity through space.

The name “Zariza” traces back to a 1636 drawing by Adam Olearius, where historic Tsaritsyn is shown at the meeting point of the Volga and the Tsaritsa River.

Спустя века именно в этом месте, рядом с Архитектурным университетом, открылся наш первый офис. Слово Art добавили при регистрации сайта — так сложилось имя Zariza Art.

Our bureau was founded on 21 December 2012—the final day of the 5,125-year cycle of the Mesoamerican calendar. “Experts” predicted the end of the world; we took it as motivation.

Asya Nikolova

Asya Nikolova — art director, interior and product designer, conceiver of concepts and scenographer of identity, co-founder of the bureau. Responsible for the projects’ ideology and artistic direction. Builds visual systems, defines spatial scenarios, and shapes the architecture of meaning. Rigorous with the idea, free in solutions.

Sergey Morozov

Sergey is the technical director, a research engineer, architect of structural rhythm, and delivery lead; co-founder of the bureau.

He structures the project’s constructive and engineering logic, and is responsible for execution and audiovisual solutions. A background in materials science helps him speak the same language as production teams, contractors, and common sense.

Mission

We help businesses develop a recognisable character—through spatial architecture, form design, and brand strategy—shaping a visual and semantic identity that becomes part of the brand’s cultural code and its industry.
